From the villa a pedestrian path (of Roman origin and measuring a distance of 800m) leads downhill to the centre of Argegno. The ancient lakeside town offers an idyllic setting in which to enjoy an authentic morning coffee, alfresco meal or evening ‘Aperitivo’. The ancient town also benefits from grocery shops, boat mooring, a bus service and passenger ferry service to Como.
From Argegno, guests are perfectly placed to reach the famous villas, Lidos and golden triangle resort towns of the central lake, in less than 10 minutes by car. The local surroundings also offer easy access to breathtaking hiking routs, water sports, boat rental and the prestigious golf clubs of Villa D’Este and Menaggio & Cadenabbia. The transport links and cultural attractions of Como (27 minutes), Milan (1 hour) and Lugano (42 minutes) are also within easy driving distance.
